SC State Fair

Presley had a special day at the fair with only her parents. We took Emmerson and Billie to daycare, so that Presley could have some important alone time with us. She rode a ton of rides. We watched a magic show and Presley volunteered to be part of it. The show focused on agriculture and Presley was the "pig" on the farm. We had a wonderful day together!

Emmerson's First Pageant

Emmerson was in her first beauty pageant a few weeks ago. It was a beauty/costume contest. She was very excited about being in the pageant, but had no clue what she was supposed to do. Her parents didn't prepare her very well! Bill walked out with her for the dress portion and I went out with her for the costume part. She was very nervous and the judges didn't get to see her wonderful personality. She did get a bag of candy at the end of the pageant, so that made everything worth it for her.

Emmerson is Two!!

Emmerson turned 2 on September 15! She goes to pre-school and has a lot of good friends. Emmerson loves her baby dolls and "froggle". She is growing up so fast!

We took Emmerson and Billie to see Elmo for Emmerson's birthday. Emmerson was a little afraid of the characters when they came in the audience. Billie was amazed by everything!

Billie's First Birthday

Daddy ordered Billie's cake and he wasn't sure about the sizes, so we ended up with a cake that could feed 80 people! We cut it in half and sent half of it to daycare for Billie to share with her friends.

Two Front Teeth

Presley has now lost her two front teeth! It is the cutest thing. She talks funny now. I hope it takes awhile before her "big" teeth come in. She did much better this time with her tooth coming out. It actually fell out during the night. She woke us up at 3:00 in the morning and said that it just fell out in her bed. She was so excited!

Billie is our best eater right now. She will eat anything you put in front of her. She also wears everything she eats!!

Presley's First Day of First Grade

She wanted me to take her picture outside, so that I wouldn't embarrass her around her friends. She should have known that I wouldn't stop with one picture!

Water Park

We took the girls to the water park at Fort Jackson again this year. Uncle Preston went with us to hang out with Presley. Billie loved the water! She would crawl around in the sprinkler section and let the water splash her in the face. Emmerson enjoyed the baby slide and the big kid slide. She is brave! Presley was able to go on the biggest slide this year even though she was still a little too short. Uncle Preston talked the worker into allowing her to go down it. We had a wonderful day and can't wait to go back again next year!

Presley Lost Another Tooth

Presley lost her third tooth! It was a very long process because she did not want us to pull the tooth. She was very dramatic with the first two that she lost, so we decided to wait until it just fell out on its own. Presley was upstairs taking a bath while we were bathing Emmerson and Billie downstairs. We heard her screaming and Bill started running towards the stairs. Presley was on her way down with blood all over her chin. She was screaming!! Bill asked her what was wrong and in between screams she said "my tooth". It took awhile to get it to stop bleeding and there was a trail of blood down the stairs! When she finally calmed down she said that she had a washcloth in her mouth and when she took the washcloth out, a string got caught on her tooth and pulled it out. We thought it was funny, but she didn't agree!!
